The Quiet You Carry was a solo exhibition created in collaboration with Reez the Band. I wanted the exhibition to feel like stepping into something you already know, but have never quite found the words for. The paintings held different emotions, but everyone seemed to find something different in them. Some people saw memories. Some saw pain. Some saw healing. Some simply stood in front of a piece and felt something they could not explain. With the music filling the space and the paintings surrounding it, the night became more than an exhibition. It became a place to pause, feel, connect, and perhaps discover something within yourself. That is what I wanted The Quiet You Carry to be. A reminder that we all carry things quietly, and sometimes art has a way of bringing them to the surface.
